Refund policy
Fortra Australia’s Returns Policy operates alongside your statutory rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and similar laws. If you are a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law, your goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded.
This policy is subject to those guarantees and does not limit or exclude them.
1. Checking Your Goods
Please check your goods upon delivery.
If you believe the goods are faulty or significantly different from their description or sample, you must notify Fortra Australia in writing within 14 days of delivery.
2. Faulty Goods
Upon receiving your notice, Fortra Australia will investigate the issue and may inspect the goods in good faith.
Major Faults
If we agree that the goods have a major fault (not caused by abnormal use), we will contact you and offer your choice of:

a refund, or
-
a replacement.
Minor Faults
If we agree that the goods have a minor fault (not caused by abnormal use), we may choose to:

repair the goods within a reasonable time, or
-
offer a replacement.
Where we accept that the goods are faulty, we will reimburse any reasonable postage costs incurred in returning the goods to us.
Fortra Australia cannot provide a refund or replacement if the goods were damaged due to abnormal use.
3. Change of Mind Returns

Website purchases: Change of mind returns are not accepted.

All other purchases: Change of mind returns may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
A restocking fee may apply to approved change of mind returns. This fee reflects our costs and will not exceed 20% of the purchase price.
Goods returned without prior written approval from Fortra Australia may be returned to you at your expense.
4. Updates to This Policy
Fortra Australia may update this Returns Policy at any time by publishing the revised version on our website.
The updated policy applies to orders placed after the publication date.
